I don’t stick to one subject matter. When I paint I enjoy a scene with clear shadows and exploring the conversation between light and dark. The shadows emphasise the shape of an object, the orientation of a space, the angle of planes. More so then weaving a story in a painting, I enjoy seeing how  flat matter can give the illusion of space and dimensions. 

I graduated art collage In 2000 in the Netherlands with a combined degree in teaching and sculpting. My artistic route has taking me on many side roads, and I often alternate between all disciplines.
